Dereham Cares – support for Toftwood & Dereham Residents

November 5, 2020

As the UK enters its second period of lockdown, Dereham Cares volunteers are on standby to help residents of Dereham and Toftwood with their essential needs.

Dereham Cares will provide help and support to people living in Dereham and Toftwood by matching them with a volunteer who can help with essentials such as collecting a prescription, talking on the phone to combat isolation, or delivering basic foodstuffs to the front door.

Already the scheme has more than 130 volunteers who undertook hundreds of such deliveries and phone calls to residents during the first period of lockdown.
