Dereham Cares Volunteer Appeal
Local councillors have created a scheme to help those in need during the Corona Virus crisis. District Councillor Alison Webb is leading with District Councillor Hilary Bushell and District Councillor Phillip Duigan on this service, working with volunteers covering Dereham and Toftwood.
If you are healthy and not self-isolating and you would like to help others who may be unable to get out for essential items, please register below.
We are looking for volunteers who would be able to deliver leaflets, answer the telephone, or pick up and deliver prescriptions, or collect and deliver basic food items . A car is not essential as you can help isolated residents near where you live. You will not have direct contact with residents but would deliver to the doorstep.
Volunteers of all ages are needed, but especially people with no health conditions and younger people without children. Guidance will be provided on keeping safe.
Please choose below if you prefer to provide this support in either Toftwood or Dereham or both. We will contact you when we receive your application.
