You can make your home more energy-efficient with government funded grants – so long as your home has an Energy Performance Certificate of D-G. If you do not have an EPC for your home, Norfolk Warm Homes can arrange one for you at no cost.
The aim of the Norfolk Warm Homes scheme is to provide energy efficiency home improvement works for people that live in homes that are not heated by mains gas. norfolkwarmhomes.org.uk
The scheme can fund eligible households with improvements such as:
✓ Loft and cavity wall insulation
✓ Solid wall insulation
✓ Flat and room-in-roof insulation
✓ LEDs and insulating jackets
✓ Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP)
✓ Solar panels
Typically homes can lose up to 60% of their heat through walls and ceilings. Click on the image to read more about this and the steps you can take to deal with heat loss.
The scheme will not fund:
✗ Boiler repairs
✗ Gas, LPG or oil boilers
✗ Solar panels as a stand-alone installation (without insulation or ASHP installed first)
✗ Windows or doors
✗ Direct support with energy bills
