U3A Dereham

U3A (The University of the Third Age) is a UK-wide movement which brings together people in their ‘third age’ to develop their interests in a friendly and informal environment. Dereham U3A started in 2011 and now has over 500 members.

If you’re wondering what we mean by the third age – it is a time after you have finished working full-time or raising your family and have time to pursue your interests or just try something new. Dereham U3A is open to anyone who is no longer in full time work.

Members enjoy a wide range of interesting and social activities together. They may join a variety of interest groups where members share their knowledge and experience to explore and enjoy a wide range of subjects. Monthly meetings, outings and events “for the curious” are open to all members.
