The About Dereham Partnership
Webmaster

You do not need to be a web guru already for this role, but some experience of website updating would be helpful and a desire to learn more about how to maintain and change a website.

Dereham Blues Festival
Press, media and PR

This role would suit someone who enjoys writing and is well organised. The PR role is active all year round, but the majority of the press, radio and media coverage takes place in the period between January to July each year, with fewer press releases in the period from August to Xmas. The role will include writing text for local and regional press and a selection of suitable magazines and websites and sending out news stories and suitable accompanying images to a range of outlets including local and regional radio and TV, DJs and presenters, and national music and festival websites. It means maintaining a database of journalists and outlets who will take your PR and publish it and servicing their needs for more information.

It will be possible to "learn the ropes" for this role in the year 2018-2019. You can see more about the Dereham Blues Festival on our website.
